The Best Start

We have many yummy ideas we’d like to start are day off with. I have actually started my day off with ice cream if you can believe it. There have been days in the distant past (a week ago) where I have woken up and had ice cream for breakfast followed by a cookie, a part tart, and than maybe some cheese and crackers. Nice eh? Well, not really. You can only do that for so long until things start to breakdown. I am not an angel when it comes down to eating healthy and staying fit. I think that one of the main reasons why this whole site is being built is to remind ME of what I am supposed to eat (besides cookies and ice cream). Sounds silly, right? Well here it goes.

I understand from having a very painful and difficult time in my life (due to eating poorly), that having a good bowel movement every morning is very important. Yes. I know alot of people just walked out of the room (left the site). But it is important. We don’t need to be like Suzanne Somers when she was on the “Late Show” and talk about how it needs to float and what color it needs to be. YIKES! But you have to eat something that “cleans you out” in the morning. If you don’t, than you are asking for trouble in the long run. Google the words “immune system bowel problems.” Take it from there. The main point is this; your immune system is related to how well your clean your insides. therefore the importance of vegetables and fruit is immense.

A perfect breakfast would actually be something like this:

(one of the following of course – not all of them)

A veggie juice (made up of apples, carrots, ginger root, beets, and celery).
An apple and a banana.
A piece of wheat toast with avocado on it and a few slices of a pear.
A glass of grapefruit juice with a slice of multigrain and/or wheat toast.
A bowl of steel cut oatmeal with cranberries on top.
A bowl of flax seed, oats, and berries.
A bowl of berries (blueberries, cranberries, strawberries) with soy milk.

All of this followed by 1-2 glasses of clean filtered water.

I will add to this list in time as it is very short. But I think we all get the point. Something tasty, good for you, and something that will clean you out and give you a bowl movement is good. Of course there have been many satires, comedy sketches, and videos about people who are fixated with having a bowl movement. We have all seen the actors or comedians portraying someone who eats a bowl of rocks or something that creates a violent bowl movement. Yes… this is ridiculous and you don’t want to eat anything that will create pain, gas, and a violent reaction. It’s all about eating well, cleaning your insides out, and feeling good.
